Queen of Winter by kgolab

Queen of Winter

Today my daughters made their own 'Queen of Winter'

As our seasons are different here in the Southern Hemisphere, we are approaching the equivalent time to Halloween on this side of the world, so my girls decided to make a Queen of Winter to celebrate in a few days time.

Today I am thankful for...

The carrying on of family traditions and the fun of creating.
They've done a great job. Do you regularly celebrate a Southern Hemisphere halloween equivalent ?

That's really interesting. Do you have a special celebration for Queen Winter?

The Queen of Winter looks festive and frightening at the same time. Lol

@merrelyn @monicac It is just our family thing.... So our 'halloween' is nothing like the america way. We will light candles, drink cider and have a bonfire, where we hope to cook sausages on a stick (if the weather is not too cold) We will remember and honour those who have past. It is a night of reflection and celebration. Queen of Winter will join us in our celebrations.
