Walking the Tidal Basin

I wanted to capture a little of the walkway around the tidal basin from which so many photos of the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial are taken. The pathway meanders under cascading boughs of cherry blossoms. (Best to click on photo to see on black background)

Oh, makes me homesick for DC . . . I used to go very, very often, as much as a few days a week for awhile. The cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin are more dense than in most anywhere in Japan, and so spectacular! Your portrayal makes me feel as if I am peeking into a lovely view.
