The Victorian row houses on Jackson Place that face Lafayette Square near the White House each have a distinctive lamp by the door. I stood at the south end of Jackson Place and zoomed in on the row house lamps, as you see here.
It's interesting to see three at once -- although strangely, the relative distance of one from another is hidden by the "forced perspective." You're really doing a great job introducing the 365 community to your DC haunts.
Beautiful, I love all of the architectural details. I originally wanted to visit DC so that I could spend days and days at the Smithsonian, but your photos have convinced me to amble around the city more!
