I think this is a male goldfinch that has molted to his winter color. We had 83 degrees on Wednesday and 17 degrees with snow this morning (Thursday). I don't think this fellow was too happy about it.
@aecasey@agedrunner Not my sharpest picture, but I'm glad you liked it. You don't often see such a clear expression on a bird's face. He was cold, hungry and not pleased!
