Day 1825 "Quinquennial" by kingstonroadcreative

Day 1825 "Quinquennial"

And just like. 5 years. A deserving shout out to James Anderson for challenging me to something that changed my life. It’s a really cool thing to look back on the last 5 years and see all of the things you’ve done, places you’ve been, people you’ve met, successes you’ve celebrated, and defeats you’ve overcome, all in one photo album. I cherish all of the memories, and all who have supported.

As life has changed and gotten busier, daily photos have become even more challenging. Lately I find myself falling behind, only to rush to catch up. Originally, “Project 365” was a one year challenge, and was meant to be a nudge to practice and improve as a photographer, but lately it’s been having the opposite effect. I want to continue to improve, and rushing to keep up isn’t allowing me the time to do that. As the 5 year mark approached, I thought a lot about what I would do. Keep going? Stop? As I still love sharing photos, I have decided to compromise. Going forward, I’ll still be shooting and posting, but it just won’t be every day. Often, but not every day.

I appreciate all of your support over the years, and hope you stay with me as project infinity evolves. Whether you’ve liked 1 photo or 50, I appreciate it!

Congratulations on 5 years... glad you'll still be around but I'm having trouble imagining how you might improve your photography - if you succeed, it will really be something to see.

I love the feeling of motion in this one. Congratulations on the big 5! I say, since its your project, post as you want but, for us, please keep doing so. Your work is most exceptional and inspirational as well.
