Agapanthus orientalis

A rather wet, frosted and bedraggled seed head.
Very sad looking indeed. A real picture of winter (well one aspect)

In thumbnail view I looked and thought OMG what on earth is that!! It's amazing how you can take something so sad looking and turn it into a work of art. Great shot!!

Nice capture with this. I'm afraid when we get back to the Texas heat next week that most of our flowers and plants will be looking like this due to the extreme heat and drought conditions.

I very nearly put up a very similar photo. I was in Melbourne for two weeks and there were the remains of agapanthus flowers and its seeds everywhere all looking very sad and very wet. Your photo is much better than any I took.
