Arapaoa Whare Nui Waikawa

The meeting house (whare nui) my resting and learning place for the next 2 days at Waikawa marae in Picton, NZ. Look closely at the carvings - whales, octopus and taniwha - symbols of the legends of Maori history in this beautiful place in NZ.
