The call went out late this afternoon for a tractor to tow this van and kayak trailer out of the mud before the tide came in. Reminded me of the little yellow digger although it only took one tractor, two neighbours and plenty of helpful advice from the amused onlookers to get them unstuck and on their way home. Life's a beach and then you get stuck!
Great shot and story - I read The Little Yellow digger every night for at least 6 months it seemed…. Then lo and behold, it would become the next youngest's favourite and I would have to repeat it… four children later….
I also like that your shot is in B&W, although the air was probably blue!
@dide@deliad I am now reading the Little Yellow Digger to my grandchildren - except the new little grandboy born 3 days ago - he is not quite ready for that yet and he lives in Sweden! Sigh! another trip coming up I hope.
@nickspicsnz Thanks Nick - yes I struggle sometimes with a whole month of B&W but then I really start enjoying the discipline. Combimngin with alphabet Feb has also been a challenge!
