On the last day of term I was invited to join a kindergarten excursion to Kaipupu Point - a predator free peninsula in the Marlborough Sounds. We found this seal snoozing and floating around by the jetty. It wasn't at all bothered by an excited group of four year olds looking for crabs under the rocks. IN fact I reckon he posed each time he popped his head up for air.
