What a gorgeous day today. Hidden secrets - the Hokitika Gorge plus a trip around Lake Kaniere. Such splendid weather we are having. The people in the scenery give some perception of scale. I hope so as I couldn't find a gap without sightseers.

The thing that always strikes me whenever I come to NZ is the colour of the water. I remember the first time we visited in 2008 how impressed we were & nothing has changed in all the years since, I always exclaim, 'look at that colour!'
