So I checked out the link and discovered there is more to this 'complementary' colour than just the colour wheel. In the traditional RYB colour model, the complementary color pairs are red–green, yellow–purple, and blue–orange. I figured that a yellow lemon and my purple water bottle might be worth a shot and then I discovered coloured shadows and the primary colours. For example, yellow is a primary color, and painters can make purple by mixing of red and blue;[3] so when yellow and purple paint are mixed, all three primary colors are present. Can you see the 3 primary colours within the complementary colours of yellow-purple? I learnt a lot and had so much fun.
