Ok So I grabbed the camera, the tripod, the bottle of wine and invited myself up to my friends who run a luxury B&B overlooking the Queen Charlotte Sound, just so I could capture the super moon arising over their hills and hopefully reflecting across the water. I only had one glass of wine whilst I waited and checked my camera settings! Many photos later and as the cloud cleared, the moon had arisen and I got the full moon albeit not quite as I had wished. Oh well - we have two more opportunities in the super moon trilogy expected over the next month. Two in January - now that will be exciting.
@happypat It was a lovely evening as I could indulge two of my passions - photography and friends. Their guests were also quite impressed with the moonrise this evening and their (phone) cameras were also busy.
