Look closely at the trunk Tucker is holding on to. Yes it is green, and it is wrinkled like an elephant. This is a native tree, but it is not a koala tree, tho it is a gum related to the bloodwood. It isn't actually native to this area but to north QLD. It is called a Cadaghi and I do see koalas sheltering in it at times. Usually when they are moving through the plantation in my front paddock. It is big enough now that the koalas graze through it every couple of months, and the tops are being cut out of them now to begin to shape them well as the front paddock is a small 300 tree plantation to grow leaf to cut for the koalas in care.
