I liked the light filtered through the leaves on his face as we both just gaze at each other. Of course I am further away than I appear to be :)
On another note, I am not allowed to publicly declare the results of my application for perpetual conservation funding (funding for every year without end). I am however, REALLY looking forward to when I can! Please don't ask for more details, just grin with me.
Thank you to everyone here because you may not realise how much support I feel by the seriously awesome comments here, and the fact that so many stop and think and ask questions. This truly helps keep me on track with the awesome task of creating habitat for wild koalas in this time of dwindling environment.
I know that’s not really a smile but my goodness it looks like one. What’s more this is definitely the look of love 😂😂. I know, I know, this is a serious case of anthropomorphism.
I love the light on the face which does look like he’s looking right into our eyes. When I see these I think I should remember the nose, but in this case I saw the ear tag. I need a chart of whose who.
@shutterbug49 you got it - I have a file of every koala nose that I have seen on the property. Sure I easily recognise the regulars when I see them day after day, but anyone I'm not sure of, it's back to the file and detective hat on :) that is the beauty of this nose pattern recognition method, I can always track back and find who is who so long as I can get the koala to look at me
i saw this on the TT and i the title just made me giggle. i had in my mind a koala with a camera having a stare down with this koala. you're not really a koala, are you? well, even if you are, it's not a bad thing. :-D
