This is Glory. I haven't seen her for over 3 years! She was hit by a car just near the property in June 2016 and we released her here on the property in August 2016. After a few days she left, presumably back to her home range which comes within a few hundred metres of Koala Gardens.
I had not seen her since then. Until suddenly, there was a koala very close to where we rescued her 3 years ago.
Yes I admit, I startled her as she was very deeply asleep. On top of that the wind was blowing fiercely. I think that is why she really startled as getting a sound through the wind was a challenge it was so loud itself.
I used her ear tag to be certain it was her, I got one photo where I could definitely identify 2 of the 4 numbers on the tag.
How lovely to know she has so close by all this time!
