After deciding I wasn't a danger, Racee and Smokey looked all around to double check all was ok, then headed up to the very top of the tree. I was lucky to come along just after they had changed trees (or unlucky not to come along as they were on the ground to get those rarer shots!), and got a few closer snaps before they disappeared into the treetops again.

@pandorasecho they are not yet functionally extinct everywhere. however they are in dire straits. my cheerful news is what I can do on my property, I concentrate on what I can control :)
