sheltering from the winds by koalagardens

sheltering from the winds

The shocking dry with the wildest winds imaginable are back. Another bit of selective colour for your viewing enjoyment. You should all recognise that Tucker nose pattern now ;)
Looks so tranquil though!!!

We have some distant family relations who live in Australia (Blue Mountains area) and we just got a family newsletter from them saying that they are okay so far, fires are 15 km away from them but the conditions they describe sound so dire, and no relief in sight from rain or lowering winds. Can't help feeling very worried about them, you, and all the koalas.

@gardencat 15 km is not far away at all - the whole situation is beyond frightening. in this area we have basically been on high nervous alert since the fires started in September and it's exhausting indeed. thank you so much for your concern

This is a perfect image to illustrate why the koalas MUST be saved.

Hope Tucker finds relief in the crouch of the two trees. love the selective coloring . first the lack of rain, then wild fires and now unbearable winds. what next?

Great shot- the way you worked the selective color on this one works really well- I like how it divides the fore and back ground. Stay safe Tucker!
