I decided it would be nice to have a series of macho koala cards since the Angel series will be so soft and feminine.
I also made this texture I have applied myself, and feel it suits Jordan. I will sell them singly, or people will be able to combine them to create their own sets.
Feedback will be very welcome as I really feel I refined the technique for Angel with help here.
This is nice- it has a similar feel to the other texture but is different enough as well. People will enjoy being able to mix and match them. It's also got a touch of humor with the leaf in the mouth and the expression on Jordan's face. Well done!
Was it Jordan who was ill - I hope this means he is on the mend. I like your texture and colours for the background but I thought maybe is was just a little too soft up close to him - if you were aiming for a macho look. He just seems to be a little sooky because he doesn't have much of a masculine, distinct outline. ? Just a weird suggestion.... LOL :)
@koalagardens I am so sorry to hear that - he seemed so strong and masculine and a real poster boy when we saw him take part in the research program. I do hope he can pull through.
@robz thank you! I know - only months ago he was the picture of health and has been alpha of the colony for at least the past 6 years. He has a blood parasite that destroys red blood cells - carried by the cattle tick that was introduced here in the early 1800s from Indonesia (not our nasty but native paralysis tick).
He was so anaemic he ended up being hit by a car, which got him rescued by me and into care, where we discovered his illness. He is now up at the Currumbin hospital and has had blood transfusion and many treatments and is finally responding.
thank you for giving some critical feedback as I am really enjoying learning to do textures well :)
