Bitter-sweet for me. Khamin and Dita have been given the green light to graduate from kindy. However it was decided that they would be released on another property, so I said goodbye to them this week.
Live a long healthy life girls and produce many joeys to keep our koalas from extinction 💜🐨💜
@30pics4jackiesdiamond yes, hopefully in just a few more weeks another 2 gorgeous girls will be here so those trees better recover and grow lots of yummy food fast for them 😊😄
Am pleased that you’ve had K & D on your beat, albeit a shorter period perhaps than you would have liked. With more appropriate Koala quarters there are/become available, the greater their chance/opportunity to flourish and be safely protected. You have much to be proud of.
Parting is such sweet sorrow... but I have a sneaky feeling that they will be back to visit! Thank you for all that you do - I'm sure that the emotional cost to you must be considerable.
Ohhhhh- )o; I was so looking forward to watching them grow up! I'm glad to hear though that you'll have another two soon- maybe they'll be able to stay. Best wishes Dita and Khamin! We enjoyed getting to know you while you stayed in the Koala Kindy!
Good bye gorgeous girls you had a short stay in this lovely place..keep well & have a happy life....Katrina you will miss them but, you gave them the start they needed.😢💓
Sad but wonderful for the progress. I always enjoy checking out your koalas! Thought of you this morning as there is one on my little collage today from many years ago. Wonderful creatures.
You did get a sweet goodbye photo. Sad to see them go but is it possible they may pass through again since your property is not closed. Guess it depends hoe distant the other property is and how far the females roam.
I bet Bullet and Hugo will be sad to see them go too. ha ha.
