yet another new nose

Definitely a young koala, probably only 3 kg or so (the size of the kindy kids). Certainly looks confident hanging more than 20 m above my head. I love the right arm holding on around the tree, somehow from this angle it looks so long to have gone around the tree but there is not another koala hiding there 🤣
Name is still under debate and vote.

@olivetreeann no, this one is around 2 years old I would think. they stay with mum riding on her back for a good 6 months or so before becoming independent. then around this time of the year, each year, those young ones that have been living separately from mum start to move right off to find their own home range and ensure genetic diversity 😊
