... sleep like a koala. Little Scampi and Keogh went back for their final health check yesterday afternoon and will hopefully be released to the wild this week. The kindy did it's job in preparing them for sure.
Aaw bless , a siesta after the fiesta ! Feeling rather apprehensive to think of them back in the wild , but must remember they have been given that extra step to get ready for the wild ! fav
Look so comfortable. It’s like watching a child leave for college or some adventure on their own for the first time. It’s happy and sad at the same time.
Awww- so cute all curled up like that. I wish he could be released near you so we could watch him grow, but I know they tend to bring them back to the area where they were found. So we'll just have to hope for the best. I can't think of a better place for him to "cut his teeth" on real life than your kindy!
