striped marsh frog

I believe I have tadpoles of this wonderful native frog as well. This is a young one about 2cm long and the photo was taken very late at night with a head lamp for lighting so the quality is not perfect. Thank you for so many lovely comments, I can barely keep up!

Nice shot.We have large green frogs but nothing else except cane toads at the moment.

@peterlgrave these are quite small frogs and they move so fast! the cane toads are a serious issue - it's been taking moves to eradicate them that has turned out to educate me on what frogs are moving about here, so that's been a bonus :)

@koalagardens It is so dry here & hot but we still see cane toads hiding under whatever they can find and also in my garage.They come out at night if there is any moisture around but at the moment the only attraction is the dogs water dish.I do the rounds every night with the torch and reduce the population if i can.

they are lovely the striped marsh frogs, we do get a few around here, but find i am busy saving them, and forget to take photos
