@louisanoffke thank you :) the common name is the title and the scientific name is hyothemis graphiptera. My camera has macro function which is what I used - I'm very keen to learn more about macros as I see some incredible photos here and am very much at the beginning of learning to try them out!
@koalagardens - so do i, it seems the more 'macro' i go with my zoom it more it focusses on something i didn't pick, like my cat picture it focussed on the nose not his eyes. i would love a macro lens too, almost xmas, never know
