@madeinnl great idea - I was quite captivated having never seen the bird before and suddenly there was a pair, but one took off for cover the moment I appeared. Very hard to photograph as it was doing that pigeon typical fast head bobbing all the time :)

Beautiful capture. I missed this one because I was away. The name is Aboriginal and was originally Wonga Wonga (which is still sometimes used by museum people). I've never managed to see one so congratulations on catching this.
