flexible necks by koalagardens

flexible necks

It's lovely watching honey eating birds as they work through the callistemons and grevilleas and how they twist their bodies and necks to get every drop available. These bare leathery heads are so strange looking. I do like the red eyes. The babbling noises they make all day are quite bizarre but make me laugh, though they go on and on.
Thank you for the awesome questions and comments on my photos.
It took me awhile to figure out the head, tail and body! Once I did I appreciated your words. One thing I like about 365 is I get to see unusual things!! Fav
