not a native by koalagardens

not a native

I do have a few things that are not native and I can never remember what this is called - the stems are smothered in very sharp spikes but the flowers are quite showy.
It is beautiful, I think it is a crown of thorns, euphorbia milii. My Mum always had one of these plants and my sister and myself were given cuttings when we left home. I had one here in Australia but it died a couple of years ago. I have never seen one since in Bunnings. Wish I lived closer I would love a cutting

It is beautiful & comes in I think 8 colours.....In my street alone there would be 8 or 9 gardens with various colour plants...as you say it has so many sharp spikes.

I agree with Babs. They are beautiful but quite lethal. I have one that has yellow flowers with red splotches on them.
