@dustyloup I don't know the year, it belonged to my late husbands late mother, so no one to check details with anymore, I just love it for being mine now :) (actually there could be some kind of details inside it for all I know!)
you are such a tease!! can't wait! I too have an old clock that I inherited from my grandmother. It is supposed to be a 8 day wind, but I usually have to wind it every few days. It is so worth it to hear the chimes

We have a clock just like this, it belonged to David's grandad. When grandad died in the 70s David brought the clock home because it didn't work. He has got it ticking again.
