I was delighted to find a pair of red necked wallabies - this is obviously the female, you can see the pouch opening, though I couldn't see any bulge, but maybe that is why the male was hanging out with her.
What a lovely shot, she looks very alert and curious.
We have wallabies here in the Peak District. 5 escaped from a private zoo during WW2 and bred into a small colony of around 50. I'm not sure of current numbers but they are still spotted from time to time.
@marlboromaam I get swamp wallabies too, but they are very shy and quite elusive (wallabies can move fast, so I was lucky she decided to freeze in place lol)
