Okay, finally I'm satisfied that I've met my challenge for Get Pushed this week from Kizzy's Mom of something "really tall".
I was so hoping that the giraffes would cooperate for a photo during today's visit, and this pretty lady, Carrie, obliged. I gave it some texture (my first time playing with that editing effect) as the green canvas background wasn't doing her any justice.
@deeganp ~ Thanks, Pea! Processing... well, I used Inpaint (a software I picked up free a couple years ago for removing unwanted bits) to remove a big wire and pole from the shot (I stink at cloning out that kind of stuff). Then Lightroom, Preset Punch to increase clarity and contrast a bit then to iPiccy.com (my new go-to since PicMonkey started charging) to add the background Grunge texture, masked off the texture on the giraffe. This is definitely more than I usually 'work' a picture!
