For Get Pushed, Sheralee asked me to do a 'Forced Perspective' picture... after doing some research, my head is spinning. There are so many cool illusions, and a good number of cheesy ones. This one was pretty simple, once I convinced (ie bribed) Juliet to be my assistant. I saw an example of a girl with grass as hair, but worked with our yard and an upside-down daughter to create the 'leaf crown'.
I found a few definitions of forced perspective, but essentially it is an optical illusion created through scaled objects or the vantage point of the subject and camera.
Whether this qualifies as forced perspective or not is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned - it stands on its own two feet as a beautiful and cleverly conceived child portrait. Well done.
