Coronation by kph129

Coronation

Yay! Got one. Lynne challenged me to 'Water Drops' for this week's Get Pushed challenge. I was hoping for a crown. For this one, I used food colouring tinted milk.

A lot of setup, but a lot of learning too, which is the point of Get Pushed right?!? Apparently crowns work best in really shallow water. And I dragged out my speedlight from the depths of the basement, so hopefully now that I know how to use it again both on camera and as an external flash, I can add it to my arsenal.

@lynne5477 ~ phew! A lot of effort to get it setup, but maybe I'll leave the setup out and try for something else this week... Please be critical and share your expertise!

You did a great job. The colors are amazing, and great effect.

Very nice crown. I think crowns are much harder to capture than the drop itself so I say "Well Done!" I'm behind about 3 days in getting shots and posting so still working on your challenge for me.
