La Casa del Mundo, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
What a fabulous spot on earth! Definitely up there with the prettiest lakes in the world - the lake itself is an ancient volcano crater and it is surrounded by three volcanos. Our stay at this beautiful hotel was our 'holiday from our holiday' and we thoroughly enjoyed some rest and relaxation and breathtaking views.
@kiwichick - no stormy, but very hazy, so it was really awesome to get this view of the volcanos. The next night, we did get a wicked thunderstorm (so cool - we were out on our balcony taking it in!) that knocked out power for the night.
