thanks so much everyone for commenting on my photos... I lucked out when I spotted this tree... there was fog on the river and I think the way the light came through the fog and reflected off the river made it possible to see the webs. I can't imagine how many spiders it took to make them nor did I want to find out. I came back the next day and the webs were there but not really visible... you really do need to be in the right place at the right time to get the shot. Thanks again!
