So Much Nectar... So Little Time

This Gulf Fritillary butterfly kept flying from one flower to the next, fluttering its wings, landing, and then taking off again. It was fun to watch and to photograph.
Nice capture of an active butterfly. I love how the legs appear to hang below and its "tongue" is curled.

Great shot of the flying butterfly. I was doing the same this morning, ran out of time and was not totally satisfied, so I may try again tomorrow. I used a greater number in aperture than you did, so I may play around with that as well. Thanks for the exif info :)

I like this so much, really shows the fast motion of these guys, and how hard it is to get a nice photo of them.

Wow this is brilliant. I have enough trouble trying to chase butterflies and photograph them on flowers but to catch one mid flight with such clarity is amazing. fav.

Marvelous capture in flight. The focus is good, too. You are getting good at catching bees and butterflies in the air. :- )
