This is a rather elegant natural still-life... and I didn't know squirrels eat acorns - I would have thought they would be too bitter for them.

@vignouse Thanks for your comment... appreciated. The eastern gray squirrel is described the Washington Post as an “opportunistic eater.” They love acorns.
