Hiking along the Homestead Trail at Red Top Mountain State Park was a joy. I've been so busy with training hikes I've had no time to edit and post my photos or to comment on yours... here is what I've been up to since Friday, Sept. 23rd:
9/23 - Vineyard Mountain Trail - 5.2 miles
9/24 - Red Top Mountain Homestead Trail - 4.2 miles
9/25 - Pine Mountain East & West Trails - 5.5
miles
9/26 - White Tail Trail & Homestead Trail - 5.9 miles
Sugar hiked with me three days in a row for a total of 15.6 miles... and she swam twice yesterday and once on Saturday. Not bad for a dog with hip displaysia. I logged a nice 20.8 miles in four days… very happy to have had the time to hike and some cooler, dryer weather too.
