George G. Finch was a Maj. General who served in both WWI & WWII. He is interred at the Marietta National Cemetery in Georgia.

Armistice Day is commemorated every year on 11 November to mark the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany. Info source" Wikipedia.

@marlboromaam Maggie... My parents are inurned, ashes commingled, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. I sure do miss them both. You know the wives & husbands of military deserve recognition for their sacrifices too... my mom put up with a lot... raising four young children while my Pop was flying TDY missions. Kudos to all the military families who also gave up so much.
