Far too cold and wet today to do anything but try to keep warm and dry. If it's this cold at the beginning of winter, heaven help us in a month or two's time!
How "funny" that it's only been a matter of weeks since the photographers here in the northern hemisphere stopped posting photos of the incessant snow and cold! My best to you...while the fire looks cozy, I'm not much of a cold weather person!
Nice shot. I just love open fires. We have a wood burner and have had it lit the last couple of days. Been pretty chilly here too. Today though is beautiful and sunny. The good thing about Australia is that even in winter it isn't winter every day.
I am shuddering to think how cold it is still going to be. Reports of snow on Table Mountain already and hail has come so regularly. Very early for all this storms
