Dripping Pitch

We spent this glorious day at our property. We pegged out our new house!! Can't wait to start building. We sat at the beach, BBQ'd for lunch and went for a kayak. Back to reality tomorrow!! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Love the photo, but have to ask - is that some type of pine? If so, be warned, pine sap/tar is very hard on clothes, shoes, hands, hair, cameras, etc., etc. But it IS neat to photograph.

@mtngal I think it was a fir tree. We trimmed a big branch off several weeks ago. The sap has been slowly dripping out. I was careful not to touch!
