We spent an hour at the new house last night just relaxing (something we rarely do). The boys attempted to fish from the kayaks and Kennedy & I played on the beach. She took this shot of me jumping!
I'm totally behind on commenting as we're so busy packing, moving things into the new garage, cleaning and helping the painter reinstall doors, etc. Our new grass has taken hold so we had to weedeat and cut both properties yesterday. We're still at least two weeks from sleeping at the new house but virtually all our stuff is there. We're sleeping on mattresses. Besides my computer & desk, there's hardly any furniture here. Life is a tad bit crazier (than normal) and I suspect will stay that way for a while longer.
We don't expect anything of you at the moment Kay...just keep going with the move!

It is a joyous and crazy time...yes! I remember when we built our house. We did not have the Certificate of Occupancy yet, so we'd love on air mattresses and lawn chairs. Then they'd come to do another inspection and we'd have to move out our stuff....I loved the first few months being in our house we built ourselves. It was heaven. I hope you guys enjoy yours but how could you not with that lake there?
