I did a photo shoot with this extended family last night. The boy plays baseball with my son and his grandparents are out for a visit from Japan so they wanted to get some shots of everyone together. His other grandmother was there too so it was a real family affair. I couldn't resist them jumping!
@deeganp Thanks! I'm quite pleased with how this turned out. They jumped three times in total but I think this was the first attempt. My friend seemed a little nervous when I said "let's do a jumping shot". She replied, "I don't think I've ever seen my mom jump!" I figured we'd give it a try and her quiet, Japanese mom did a great jump surprising her daughter and making her smile & laugh. I actually cropped another of the shots so that just the visiting grandparents were focused. They were both mid air with great smiles. Her dad was also very quiet and reserved throughout the shoot but really got expressive in this. It was fun!
