Dolphin Watching

My mom, husband and I took my cousin (from Ontario) whale watching yesterday. We didn't see any whales but we did see about 100 dolphins. It was incredible! We all really enjoyed ourselves.

** Before we went out on the boat we saw 6 orcas right in front of our property in the morning. They were close enough that we could hear when they blew the water out. Just today I saw my first ever Humpback whale. I looked outside and saw the whale watching boat from yesterday and figured that must be something to see. Sure enough... a humpback.

Fabulous shot, love the sea spray. We get a lot of bottlenose dolphins here in the bay and also the humpback whales migrate from Antarctica to warmer waters in June and back down the coast to Antarctica between now and October. Lovely to watch.
