It's grey and ugly here and I needed some colour so I got out my favourite rainbow umbrella.
Thanks for all your comments on yesterday's museum shot. It's crazy to think it was just a display because it was so life like. They even pump out smells to match the setting. If you are ever in Victoria, BC I highly recommend visiting the museum. It's right downtown by the inner harbour, Empress Hotel and Legislative buildings. I've been going since I was a kid and I still love to visit.
@maggiemae In one spot it felt kind of damp and smelled beach like. It's hard to describe the smell. I didn't notice but a friend said she smelt cinnamon buns in the old kitchen display. There's an old train station and it was dark when we arrived and then you could hear and almost feel the train coming from a distance. The lights changed and it got louder and it was like the train went right by the station. It's rather magical!
Funny, isn't it, somehow I knew this was yours before I even saw the caption. I think it was the rainbow umbrella....I need to get one of those, even if we do not lack for color around here.....80 degrees today again, warmer than summertime!
Well, that crew looked real and how cool to see it and still think it looks real!!! Love this photo too! Fantastic details and clarity and the colors are so awesome!!! Great composition and POV!! Huge FAV!!!
Interesting to,hear about the smells of your wonderful museum. They have a similar experience in a museum in the city of York in Yorkshire. You can smell the smells of old England as you would in real time. I haven't been for years but seem to remember some of them were a bit unpleasant!
Lovely prime colours & lines in this shot.
Love this! Love the black lines separating the bold colors. It's such an "organized" picture, with each color given an equal share of the show. (Nutsy evaluation there, but I like organization.)
Lovely prime colours & lines in this shot.
