Spyhopping

More from our whale watching trip on Sunday. I was so excited to capture this big guy spy hopping along side his partner. Their two little ones were with them as well and they were actively hunting. I missed it but my husband and son swear they saw a seal in the mouth of the orca. Those lumps in the background are birds on some rocks.

Amazing! We were in Victoria BC last month and went on a whale watching trip and didn't see any whales. I was so disappointed. Apparently, in that area, they almost always see whales. Thanks for this beautiful shot! Fav.
