Sad news to report... our sweet little Rod was hit by a car this morning and is no longer with us. We're in shock! Neither cat ever showed any interest in the road side of the yard but when he didn't come home we searched the beach and eventaully the road. Gage found him! We take comfort in knowing his short life was full of love and adventures with us and his brother and we are so grateful that we found him and know what happened. Rod loved to climb and chase bugs. He loved to hide under the covers and between the pillows and had a loud meow. He was a big snuggler who was terrified of the vacuum.
That is so sad to hear Kim. When I was younger we got a kitten who only had about 4 weeks with us before being hit by a car and killed too. It's devastating, but at least finding him does bring some closure. Much love to you all xx
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers- I'm so sorry to hear about little Rod's untimely death. Pets become such a huge part of our lives so it's just as hard to loose them. )o:
