Just stopped at the roadside to see what plants are around in the UK's country lane. If you look closely there are many pretty flowers to be found that most people would just walk by.
This is probably one of the most common and is known as Cow Parsley, just a weed until you look closely and see the pretty flowers on display.
Beautiful! I am often amazed at the beauty of these wildflowers! Absolutely right to look closely at out of the way weeds and tiny flowers growing in unexpected places.
I've noticed there's a trend to call them wildflowers - and rightly so. Some are being brought into gardens. Recently I saw a couple for sale at the garden centre and took a double take as they grow wild in my yard. Lovely shot and good reminder.
