Trumpets in the Hedgerows. by ladymagpie

Trumpets in the Hedgerows.

We all love our garden flowers, and beautiful they are to. There are also many beautiful flowers among the hedgerows and fields in my lovely area of the Cotswold Hills.

This is the common hedge bindweed which display these pretty trumpet shaped flowers. It was said that it would make a nice garden plant, but is renown for choking anything in it's path by rapidly entwining around every other stem. Perhaps we should just enjoy it in the hedgerows.
Lovely framed image.

A good capture of the bindweed - white is difficult to 'shoot' - I love wildflowers. (thanks for comment and fav!)
