After a very misty morning the sun came out and I was able to get out and about geocaching and of course my trusty camera was by my side. A lovely walk along a part of the canal that hasn't been restored yet and I came across this old mill.
This is Clayfields Mill and has now been converted into a private home. Just think how beautiful this is going to be when the canal is back working and you are sitting in your garden watching the boats go by.
I can't go out with a funny story can I, well it was very muddy and wet under foot and when I came to a tunnel under the railway I found it half flooded. Some kind person had laid stones and logs through the water which you had to balance on to stop getting your feet wet. I'm glad nobody had a movie camera to catch me wobbling all over the place and hanging on to the tunnel wall, again my kids would ground me if they found out what I get up to. Stop laughing, I had to come back this way later as well.
I love reading your narratives and can relate to it as I nearly fell in the river trying to get a shot of something once! I love the processing on this one and it's an instant Fav. What software do you use?
Wonderful shot and great processing, a fav! And of course I enjoyed your narrative, especially "my kids would ground me", which I can truly identify with :))
Sounds like quite the adventure! What a great place to call home. My friend once visited there and said I got to stay in a newer home it is only 200 years old...lol!
