The art of Horizontal Pole Dancing has been around for hundreds of years but was really made popular for exercise and flexibility in Russia, by the famous dancing troop of the Bolshoi Ballet, even as early as 1776.
I've tried this myself but just can't get a leg over, which probable didn't help as I had attracted a large audience on platform 2 of the local train station. Giving up I hobbled down to the local park to see this troupe in action, hoping to get a few tips and to see what I was doing wrong.
The leader, closest to me, was having problems getting them all set up, some facing the wrong way before putting the music on, which I believe was going to be Handel's Water Music or looking at the other feathered cast, might have been Swan Lake.
I couldn't wait any longer as I needed to get home and write another stupid far fetched story for my 365project. Make it more feasible by viewing with the black background.
LOL! Love the story and the very cute capture. I see some type of creature on the ground, making a quick get-away. Perhaps this is the black swan from Swan Lake? A fav for me for the good laugh!
I love the stories. We seem to be the only ones who do this lol. Beautiful shot. But I really wanted to see the one where you tried it. Now that is a shot. Maybe next time. FAV
Such an interesting story to go with the picture, Heather. Your 365 is constantly entertaining and makes me want to flesh out my paltry descriptions! :-)
