Living in a lovely quiet Cotswold village we get excited when the local farmer drives his tractor through, or horse riders clip clop their merry way in a sedate manner. We do see the local dustman once a week, but to be honest I'm still in the land of nod at 7.15 am. This does however cause problems as we have to put the bags out the night before and often the local foxes rip them open.
I digress from the picture, you can image the fuss when this low loader parked right opposite my home and proceeded to load a fork lift tractor on it. They are enlarging an old cottage around the corner and this was the safest place to upload. We locals were all out chatting about the activity, whilst I set about with my camera. The lorry driver was reversing the tractor on and the equipment belong to another local company call "Ermin Plant Hire", I didn't ask him if I could borrow some roses, PLANT HIRE, ok I'll shut up
If you look at the house top right, you will see where yesterday's home guard sparrow lives.
I'm just so taken with the narrowness of your street! The truck takes up half the road! our streets are so wide compared to this :) Great shot by the way - big toys for big boys :)
It is good to see that one universal truth is that truck...lorry drives everywhere take pride in their equipment. Love the lug nuts.
